When faced with all the things going on around us, many of us ask ourselves, How can I help the world? What can I do?
It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. So many causes and concerns. It’s tempting to throw your hands up in the air and wonder what can one person do anyway?
Well, one thing you can do is to be like this man who single-handedly repopulated a species of butterfly in his city! 🙂
Of course, I don’t mean you have to do exactly what he did. But just pick something. Anything. If you like to garden, you can add in plants that help support the insects we love and rely on. If you walk or run every day, you can make it your job to pick up litter along your route. The possibilities are endless. 🙂
Actions are important, but also important, imo, are your thoughts and imaginings or prayers or whatever you call it when you hold a high vision and look for and appreciate the good…I talk more about that elsewhere on this site.
So give some thought to how to help the world. What can you do? This book is full of ideas and also very inspiring:
